Q: How do I get started at Wagging Tail Ranch? A: Please fill out our New Client Boarding Information Sheet, read over our Boarding Policy, read and sign the Owner Agreement. You can bring the completed copy of the boarding information sheet at the time of drop off or email a copy to info@waggingtailranch.com. We will also require a copy of your current vaccination records. This can be brought at the time of dropoff as well.
Q. How do I make a reservation at Spa Paw & Tail?

Q. What vaccinations are required in order to stay at Wagging Tail Ranch?
A. For our canine guests we require Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella. Vaccinations that are required for our feline guests are Rabies and FVRCP (Distemper).
Q.What is the bordetella vaccination and why should my pet receive it? What if they have never had it?
A.The bordetella vaccination HELPS to protect your pet from kennel cough. As with many illnesses, there are many strains of kennel cough so the vaccination is NOT guaranteed to protect but certainly is helpful in prevention. If your pet has never had the vaccination or a year has lapsed since the vaccination then Wagging Tail Ranch requires 11-14 days to lapse once the pet receives the vaccination. This 11-14 days will be sufficient to identify if the pet had been exposed to kennel cough or their immune system had been compromised. We must adhere to this approach to maintain our disease management system and keep all of our guests healthy and happy.
Q. What will the accommodations be like for my pet? I have never boarded before…..
A. Well this is a great facility to start with. Our guests are given the opportunity to play together throughout the day (behavior permitting). They rise very early for breakfast and potty break at 7am. The dogs are then released for playtime atleast SIX times throughout the day with rest time in between. By 5pm all dogs are ready for supper. Meals are prepared as the owner has advised. Final potty breaks are given between 8:30-9pm each night. Each Bunkhouse Suite offers a cot style bed or rubber mat, cozy blankets, stainless steel bowls with fresh water and privacy walls between neighbors. The entire facility is climate controlled and always kept at a comfortable setting.
Q. Can I bring my dog’s bed, blanket and toys into Wagging Tail Ranch?
A. Yes you may. Owners are encouraged to bring anything that will help there pet feel more comfortable during there stay. Owners can bring favorite toys, blankets, or beds. Some owners even choose to bring there pets crates to sleep in at night. However, if your pet is a “chewer” we request that anything that can be shredded not to be brought in for your pet’s safety.
Q. What is included in the rate for boarding at Wagging Tail Ranch?
A. The rate of $20.00 each night is all inclusive of feedings, medication administration, treat distribution, unlimited playtimes, all suite accommodations, cot bedding, stainless steel dishes, unlimited belly rubs and a tail wagging good time! All pets staying 3 or more nights will also receive a complimentary bath before going home.
Q. What is Wagging Tail Ranch's policy on dogs with aggression?
A. For the safety and comfort of our guests and staff we CAN NOT accept any pet with human aggression. However, if a pet is pet aggressive and easily managed by the staff we offer individual attention and playtime. These dogs will be walked and played with on an individual basis.
Q. Do you provide grooming at Wagging Tail Ranch?
A. We currently do not offer pet grooming however we have all the amenities for a great doggie spa bath. Just let us know if you would like you pet to recieve a bath during there stay. All dogs staying 3 or more nights will recieve a complimentary bath before going home.
Q.Will you give my pet medication?
A. Yes we will. We don’t even charge extra for doing it. We keep a medication chart on their suite so that we track when it was given.
Q. What will my pet eat while at Wagging Tail Ranch?
A. We encourage owners to bring there own food to prevent any gastric upset during the stay.
Q. Are there any breeds that Wagging Tail Ranch will not accept?
A. No, however, we WILL NOT accept dogs that are aggressive toward people and staff.
Q. Is there an interview before my pet can come to Wagging Tail Ranch?
A. No. We trust that all information given by the owner on the Boarding Information Sheet is correct and complete. From there we take very slow action to introduce our new
guests to our playgroups. All of our guests are closely supervised and play is kept at a calm but fun level at all times.
Q. My female dog is in heat. Will you accept her to stay at Wagging Tail Ranch?
A. Sorry but no we do not accept female dogs in heat.
Q. Do you accept intact males at Wagging Tail Ranch?
A. Yes, however, they will not be offered group play. They will enjoy plenty of individual exercise and walks.
Q. What is the cancellation policy and do I need to make a deposit when making the reservation?
A. We do not require a deposit for making a reservation, however, if a reservation is canceled, that owner will then have to make a deposit for future reservations. We encourage owners to please notify us of any changes or cancellations of the reservation atleast 5 days prior.

A. Monday to Saturday 7 AM to 6:00 PM
Sunday 4-6 PM
