Wagging Tail Ranch is located in a quiet country setting on 8.5 acres.  With lots of room to romp and explore here on the ranch, we are equipped with a 700 sq. ft indoor play area and a fully enclosed playground outside. 
 
While on the ranch, dogs are encouraged to run, play, and interact with each other while under constant supervision from our experienced staff. 
 
Owner/Caretaker, Lisa Traaseth, is very experienced in the animal care field.  Lisa's past experiences as a Kennel Attendant and Veterinary Assistant at facilities that are approved by the American Animal Hospital Association, have given her the opportunities to learn and become an experienced animal care provider.  Lisa has over 6 years experience working with animals in high paced animal care facilities. During this time, Lisa has learned how to care for animals with special needs, as well as dealing with animal medical emergencies.

As the owner of Wagging Tail Ranch LLC, I understand the inconveniences of living in today's world.  Many of today's families have busy schedules and/or work long hours, leaving little time to play with their pets.  Wagging Tail Ranch was established to help those families with active lives, as well as active pets.

 

I feel that in today's world, our animals are playing a more important role in our lives.  Many pets, including my own, are considered important members of the family.  

 

For many years, I struggled finding a boarding facility that I felt was appropriate for our active dog "Lily."  Maybe I was just too picky or was too "involved" in the animal field, but I never really found a facility that I felt completely comfortable leaving her at.  As a pet owner, I became concerned at the thought of my pet being locked up in a kennel day in and day out until our return.  My other concerns included cleanliness of the facility, unreliable vaccination and safety protocols, and owner/caretaker not being onsite for 24 hour care.  As you can tell, I have high standards when it comes to my pets.  While staying at Wagging Tail Ranch LLC, I can proudly say that your pets will also be treated with those same high standards.
